Suggestions for Next Book Discussion
If you have a suggestion for a topic or specific book that you would like to be the focus of our next book discussion, post it here. The BAEYC Old Colony Chapter Steering Committee, which hosts this event, would welcome your suggestions. Authors who might also be available to present as part of our next Spring Conference would be of special interest.

"Fatherneed" why father care is as essential as mother care for your child by Kyle Pruett, M.D. I think this topic needs to be kept in the present. I have attended a Fathering conference each year in Marlboro that is always great. I'm not sure if this message is received enough in Southeastern Ma. This women dominated field needs to work hard at having Dad's feel welcomed and vitally important in the lives of their children. The Fatherhood Initiative is a program of the Ma Children's Trust fund. See Fatherhood Kit at www.mctf.org
As this is my first book discussion I am unaware of what books have already been discussed. I want to share an absolutely wonderful book...The Read Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease. I found it a wonderful eye opener.
I know it is not about spring but I wanted to mention it.
